If you have pre-existing thyroid issues our medical team will require further information before approving any of our integrative medical programs in the weight loss category.
Patients wanting to qualify for our Medical Weight Loss Program will be required to complete this test to rule out any potential contradictions to the medication.

The thyroid produces hormones that regulate the energy levels, growth, and reproduction of every cell in the body. Meaning that inorder to remain healthy with new cells being generated to replace old ones, the thyroid needs to be working at full capacity.
The weight loss screening Thyroid Profile determines if a patient qualifies for our weight loss based Integrative Medical Programs.
One of our weight loss medications, Semaglutide, contains a potential interaction with pre-existing Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) and therefore must be tested for before this medication can be prescribed.
If a thyroid condition is detected, our team can guide patients on how to manage their symptoms and which weight loss programs they are eligible for.

Receive Pathology Forms
You will receive a package which will include all instructions, pathology form, details of sample collection locations.
Pathology Assessment
Your samples will be assessed once received by our labs. The turnaround time for results is 7 – 10 business days, but please be aware laboratory times may vary and you may experience a delay in results.
Results Review with the Medical Team
Once your confidential results have been sent to the medical team for review, they will call you to discuss your results and appropriate treatment options moving forward.
Receive Your Results
After your consultation and review with our Medical Team, you will receive a copy of your results via email. Any important information and recommendations given by our Medical Team during the review will also be emailed to you.
